However, it often happens that in a particular year, during the celebration of the festival, the climate is not cold enough to form ice. Keeping this in mind, the event planners should organize some additional source of amusement for the tourists, so that in case the climate does not allow the perfect condition for skating activities in the ice skating ring, the tourists do not feel discontent. Fairs, exhibitions, DJ night shows, can be arranged for this reason. The official mascots for this Canadian festival, the Icy Hogs, is a source of great deligh t and recreation, for the children, as they play with ice with them, and also let the families take picture with them.
